The North Toronto Community Band is a vibrant group of over 50 dedicated adult musicians who share a passion for making music accessible and enjoyable for all. As a true community band, our repertoire spans everything from film scores and show tunes to big band jazz, classical transcriptions, and original works for concert band. We strive to connect, inspire, and reflect the vibrant heart of Toronto.
PLAY WITH US!
Our 2026-2027 season begins this September!
Whether you’re looking to dust off your instrument or challenge yourself with new music, we’d love to have you! We’re a non-auditioned community band that welcomes dedicated musicians of all backgrounds. While there’s no formal audition, we do expect players to keep up with the music.
We are looking for the following instruments:
- Oboe
- Tenor Saxophone
- Auxiliary Percussion
All sections are currently full at this time. However, we still welcome inquiries! Please contact us in case positions become available or circumstances change.
Curious to see if it’s the right fit? Come try us out for 2–3 rehearsals before committing. We rehearse weekly from September to mid-June – join us and make music with a fun, supportive group!
If you have any questions or would like to attend a rehearsal, please contact us at ntcband@gmail.com before dropping in.
Monday evenings from 7:30PM to 9:30PM
Willowdale Presbyterian Church
